ATIN founder James Gilmore steps down. Promotes Matt Doman to President & CEO

New Orleans – ATIN founder James Gilmore steps down. Promotes Matt Doman to President & CEO

All Things insurance dot net, (ATIN) announced today that its founder, James Gilmore, will step down as CEO to concentrate on health issues and outside business interests. Gilmore stated that partner and current Sales and Systems Services Manager, Matthew Doman, will become President & CEO and continue to run the day-to-day operations of ATIN.

"Matt Doman, who made partner/co-owner in August 2010 and his extremely talented team here at ATIN are responsible for accomplishing many goals that have grown and maintained ATIN as the overall leader in loss run procurement, (LRP) within the United States. "His ability to research, design and implement new technology within all areas of the company and its products made Matt the easy choice to run the company." Gilmore said.

ATIN and its flagship service, MyLossRuns.com was introduced in 2005 and within just its first few months had amassed thousands of users to its online automated Loss Run Procurement Ordering System.

"ATIN's service, MyLossRuns.com was the first to market to the insurance industry a fully automated loss Run Procurement system through the World Wide Web with 100% receipt of loss runs ordered, when ordering from the correct carrier of record. And in doing so, solved one of the largest issues when attempting to quote and bind new commercial insurance business", Doman said.

It is well known within the commercial insurance industry that the more often you have to contact your prospective insured for loss history information, the less likely you are to bind their coverage. Traditionally, the burden of loss run procurement falls to the insured, and because loss runs are necessary to quote, a large percentage of sales are lost each year simply due to failure to procure loss runs. "Our system eliminated the need to keep asking the prospect for this information, a requirement by any competing carrier wishing to qt new business," Gilmore said.

"We have had several customers tell us they have as much as doubled their overall book of business in as little as two seasons of using MyLossRuns.com by ATIN and we are extremely proud of such accomplishments by our members," Gilmore stated.

"The days of having to pass on new business (that in some cases has taken up to two years to work in order to be given the opportunity to quote) due to not having been able to retrieve currently valued loss runs became a mute issue once MyLossRuns.com hit town!" said Fred Dick of F.L Dick Insurance Services in Modesto, California.

"I now receive loss runs for ever single prospect I am quoting and as such not only has my submission ratio increased, so too has my overall closing ratio," said Dick.

ATIN Works With Kentucky DOI on Insurance Fraud Case

New Orleans – ATIN Works With Kentucky DOI on Insurance Fraud Case

In January of 2011, ATIN was contacted by a representative of the Kentucky Department of Insurance regarding an alleged case of fraud being perpetrated by an agent in Kentucky. When questioned by the DOI, the agent cited ATIN and it's services as enabling her fraudulent behavior. After an extensive conversation with Matt Doman, ATIN Sales and System Services Manager, it became clear that ATIN in no way condones or facilitates fraudulent use of our services. We were happy to work directly and extensively with the Kentucky DOI to help them build a case against the offending agent, to the point of sending Matt Doman to Kentucky to testify if necessary. Fortunately, it did not come to that, as the KY DOI was able to make a very strong case against the agent using the information provided by ATIN. We were very grateful for the opportunity to confirm our legitimacy and strengthen our relationship with the Department of Insurance. ATIN remains committed to operating within the existing loss run procurement guidelines and assisting commercial insurance agents in all fifty states in doing the same. Our members have learned to trust the experience and expertise of our staff in all matters related to loss run procurement and cite the knowledge and availability of our personnel as one of the top reasons for consistently renewing their memberships with us.

ATIN Switches to VoIP Phone System, Cuts Telecommunications Cost by 50%

New Orleans – ATIN Switches to VoIP Phone System, Cuts Telecommunications Cost by 50%

In our continuing efforts to reduce overhead during the economic recession, we made the decision to switch from a traditional phone service provider to a Voice Over IP internet phone system. We hired an outside telecommunications consultant to perform a thorough assessment of the various options and we ultimately decided on Vocalocity (www.vocalocity.com). Vocalocity is one of the top five virtual PBX providers in the market, specializing in micro enterprise markets (businesses with fewer than 20 employees). Making this switch has not only enabled us to reduce our operating costs by 50%, but the full range of features offered by Vocalocity has increased our productivity as well and facilitated our staff's ability to telecommute as necessary. During holidays, our staff is able to simply unplug their phones from their desks and take them anywhere in the world without any change in service or features.

Being the first company to develop and bring to market an automated system for ordering commercial loss runs was in incredible feat in itself.
